Facilities for our Patients

Orchard Medical Practice provides Personal Medical Services (PMS) from spacious premised designed in contemporary style to provide patients with high quality 21st century Primary Health Care facilities.

We have a close working relationship with the other practice that shares the building.  Our combined NHS registered population is approximately 15,000.  Some services such as treatment room nursing and phlebotomy (taking blood for testing) are shared between all practices.  We are delighted to have our colleagues from district nursing, health visiting, mental health, midwifery and ENT providing services on this site.  The Lloyds on-site pharmacy provides a convenient source for health advice on minor illnesses, OTC (over the counter) medicines and prescriptions only medicines.

Suffolk Primary Care Trust (PCT) is a party to the contract with our practice to deliver PMS. 

CAR PARKING

There is a large car park to the rear of the Medical Centre.  This is for the use of patients only whilst attending the Medical Centre

The Medical Centre has easy access for wheelchairs and lift access to the first floor.  Please let our Receptionist know if you will need extra assistance.  There is a hearing loop on the Reception desk.
